If every seed grew, there'd be no room in the world for anything but pomegranate trees.
- David Almond
This is an illustration of the pomegranate tree. Pomegranate is known as 'The Fruit of Paradise' because of its rich taste and symbolic importance.
This crowned fruit is indigenous to Persia, and it has great religious-cultural significance. It is considered sacred in Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism as well as Greek and Roman mythology. Pomegranates symbolize life, fertility, and abundance as they have countless ruby-like seeds.
This piece is one of my personal favourites as the trees loaded with fruit always fascinate me ❤️ and the background seafoam green colour with the hints of white looks divine 🤍
